Choureal: The dreamy tailor-made profiterole heads to Glyfada

There are sweets that you just eat but there are also sweets that you fall head over heels in love with. Choureal’s profiteroles undoubtedly belong to the second category. After conquering the center (Syntagma) and the north (Chalandri), it has now headed south and found a new home in Glyfada, at 39 Lazaraki Street. This little miracle, with freshly baked choux pastries and rich melted chocolate, is served exactly the way it should be: fresh, warm, and right before your eyes.

The display window is a gateway to the world of profiterole: here, nothing is hidden. You watch the magic of pastry unfold in real time – from the preparation of the dough and cream, to the final garnish. No powder, no ready-made mixture, only pure ingredients, perfect technique and mastery. The trump card? The “profiterole à la minute”, which is prepared on the spot. And, actually, that’s their innovation. They were the first to introduce tailor-made profiterole! You choose the filling: velvety classic cream or refreshing ice cream? After that, it’s the chocolate’s turn. Dark, milk or white? And finally the topping for the final touch.

And keep in mind, that nothing is ready-made here. All the basic ingredients are produced in-house, with premium raw materials, natural vanilla from Madagascar and New Zealand, fresh Greek milk and butter from Brittany. They use the world’s finest chocolate , Noalya (Tuscany), Valrhona and Opera (France), Orfeve (Switzerland). You will find plenty of options, from Gianduja or Aegina Pistachio with handmade nut pralines, chocolate caramel to more special ones such as Yuzu and Passion Fruit. The result is top-quality and highly addictive.

At Choureal, all the puffy choux and mouth-watering eclairs are strictly produced daily and, of course, disappear in the blink of an eye. So come early, or take the risk. And for an elevated level of pleasure, accompany them with a specialty Espresso Valenio, because you take your coffee very seriously.
