Milokipos: The shop where your future memories live

If you pass by Adamantas in Milos, it’s almost impossible not to be drawn to a shop with it’s open welcoming doors, clean lines and shelves full of little treasures. It’s called Milokipos (= Apple Orchard in Greek) and since 2020 it’s been one of the most sought-after spots on the island for flavors, care products and gifts that have substance. A shop where you enter to browse and leave full of things that will remind you of your summer vacation. 

Its strengths? Olive oil and honey. They have a huge variety of extra virgin olive oils – from the Peloponnese, Crete, the islands – and you can taste them there on site. The ideal way to choose! The staff is very knowledgable, they really love and proudly represent what they have on their shelves, and it shows. The same goes for the honey. The local thyme is a must, but even the rarer ones, made from wildflowers or herbs from Olympus and other places, have their unique character and history. But it doesn’t stop there. They have a very select line of Greek cosmetics and skincare products that are herbal, vegan, cruelty free, with ingredients like propolis, sea salt, volcanic coal, herbs and more. You will also find handmade ceramics from Greek designers like plates, mugs, small objects that look like works of art but are completely usable everyday, to remember the island while drinking hot coffee in the winter.
