Ice cream is in a separate gastronomy school by itself. Traditionally Italians became the pioneers of ice cream around the world, by taking outstanding care and fanatical attention to the raw material, non-negotiable avoidance of preservatives or flavour additives and refined methods of preparation, for an excellent and delicious final product. Thus artigianale ice cream was born, the one that fulfils all qualifications and has an excellent texture, taste and consistency and in Greece deservedly represented by Mucca!
The secret of Mucca’s (= cow in Italian) success is not so much secret: behind the project is the charismatic chef patissier Vincenzo Zani, who come from our beloved neighbouring country, brought with him the know-how, passion and exclusive recipes for ice creams that will make you… lose your mind!
With authentic flavours that seduce you will find Madagascar vanilla (with real vanilla), the world’s leading French chocolate Valrhona, Sicilian pistachio; sorbets from fresh melon, strawberry, mango or watermelon based on seasonality; for a totality of 40 different flavours. Flavours that bring out the natural aromas and their high nutritional value.
The ice cream is served in a handmade cone, cup or cookie nest (also hand-made), while the more… adventurous can enjoy it with freshly baked waffles! If you are in a savoury mood, you can choose brioche, crepe or even croissant with the ingredients of your choice; and enjoy it in the open-air space, which takes advantage of nature light and connects you with the rhythms of the suburbs.
Since 2010, Mucca has been teaching authentic Italian art classes on the gelato and is an indispensable part of our daily life, whenever the mood for ice cream… knocks on the door! At Mucca you will also find authentic Italian espresso or cappuccino that you can take-away for your walk. You will find it at Faros area, in Psychiko, as well as in Drosia where is co-located with GiGi Burger Bar.
