In one of the most iconic hotspots of the historic center of Athens, at the exact location that once hosted the legendary and unforgettable six d.o.g.s, a very exciting project has been unfolding over the last two months named Klakaz. This new venture mixes humor, nostalgia for everything that shaped our childhood years, loud parties and a massive dream of a courtyard. It has already become our go-to refuge after a walk, between shopping breaks, or for a night out that aims to be unforgettable. Everything exists in beautiful chaos and harmony, just as it should in a true urban hangout that has for years been synonymous with evolution and, paradoxically, timelessness.
A great start is made every day with specialty coffee from Area 51, while its treats are already becoming viral content on our timelines. The star of the show is the thick, fluffy and delicious Canadian-style pizza, alongside yogurt with kolyva, the oversized slipper-bread sandwiches, various egg dishes, smoothies, refreshing salads and the nostalgic adult children’s party platter featuring mini-buns, cocktail sausages and croquettes. The desserts are signed by the talented Babis Zidilis, featuring mind-blowing creations like the whipped cream-stuffed touloumpa, the caramel biscuit dessert and other sugary sins.
There is no doubt that this new space will thrill you. The indoor murals, the endless bar where cocktails inspired by Dimitris Roussos are mixed with heavy R&D behind them, the iconic sticker-covered stairs from the Six Dogs era and the comfortable, brightly colored seating instantly lift your mood. It creates the perfect backdrop to chill with your friends, catch up and swap the latest gossip. It is also ideal for digital nomads since the Wi-Fi is lightning fast and the mornings are relatively quiet. Outside you will find pure extravaganza with waterfalls, shades, gravel and an endless space to cool down, relax, or just lose your mind.
Inside the Club area, killer nights have already taken place, ranging from live gigs and stand-up comedy to drag shows and Sunday street parties.
