Only a few weeks have passed since the opening of Lazy Duck and the sound of the first cocktail shaker in Agia Irini Square, the new all-day cocktail bar, which has already stolen visitors’ minds in the heart of the city. A new arrival that has already started to become the talk of the town, making a rumble in the neighbourhood. Lazy Duck is in the impressive building that used to house Tailor’s Made, but with a new refreshed interior design and a look that offers a completely new air and a contemporary atmosphere.
The completely elevated perspective in the decoration is modern and at the same time heartfelt and tasteful that invites each guest individually to enjoy the moment. But you will come to Lazy Duck because you really have to try the cocktails. The exuberant and very interesting list has been expertly edited by Yannis Platanitis, who has combined classic recipes that we all love to new inventive and delightful signature drinks, with very special and original combinations, offering a taste experience that you should not miss.
Among the most popular cocktails, the Paloma has already become a favourite choice, combining agave and grapefruit juice with premium Don Julio tequila. Also, the ‘Himitsu’, a variation of Negroni with gin, and the ‘Hanagasumi’ with sake, pine(!), vermouth and cherry blossoms, are ideal choices for lovers of unexpected flavours. Very uniquely interesting is the ‘Ducks Nest’ with bourbon, pineapple shrub, wine and sudatsi juice (similar to yuzu); and also, the ‘Aztec’ with beetroot, mescal and tequila, which is a truly umami drink for experienced palates.
Every drink is treated with significance with attention to detail, bartending is based on Japanese standards and is a real rite of passage. Very important note: every Friday and Saturday, patrons can enjoy explosive DJ sets, in a mood to dance and party. Lazy Duck is already developing into a must destination for all those who wish to relax with a good drink or have a good time with friends.
