Two years ago, Humain found its Athenian home in the old townhouse on the corner of Agras and Archimaydous streets. Here, every element of the space has its own distinct identity. The lighting is designed by Eleftheria Deko, renowned for her iconic illumination of the Acropolis. The marble tables were crafted exclusively for Humain, while the handmade ceramic tableware is the creation of executive chef Christos Fotos, Georgina Yioti and their team.

Of course, now that the temperatures are rising, the interest moves higher up to a secret, lush rooftop garden. A true sanctuary under the city sky, it allows you to escape the intense pace of Athens, while being right in the center of it.

Humain’s kitchen follows the principle of seasonality, ensuring that ingredients are always at their absolute peak. Head chef Yiannis Kaldis blends flavors, aromas and techniques from different cuisines and cultures, creating a truly gastronomic experience, always on a human scale, faithful to the restaurant’s very name.

There are two options available: the degustation menu or the à la carte. In the first case, you give the chef the freedom to tell the story just as he intended to narrate it, in the second, the choice is entirely yours.

Special mention must be made of Humain’s cocktail list: Curated by Dimitris Karapanos and Vasilis Sgouromallis, it creatively explores fermentations, distillations and unique flavor balances, working either as the ideal pairing to the menu or on its own for anyone looking for a standout cocktail in the heart of the city.
